Entry Information
What is the entry cost?
Refer to your event for information on entry fee costs and inclusions.
Is there an age limit for the race?
All races are run under Aus Triathlon rules, therefore you must be 18years old (at Dec 31 in the year you are racing)to race the HB100 or 15 years old to race the HB50. Team members must be 17 years old for the HB100 or 14 years old to race in a HB50.
Can I race in a team?
Yes, team entries are available for HB100 and HB50.
What is my job as Team Captain?
As Team Captain you will complete the race entry and take responsibility for all your team members eligibility for the race, ensure the emergency contact listed knows everyone in the team and any medical conditions are listed on the entry portal.
Do all my team members need a One Day Membership (ODM)?
ODM is included in the Team entry fee as all members must hold membership individually.
What about refunds, withdrawals, and transfers?
There are no refunds, deferrals or transfers for HB100, Aqua100, HB50, Aqua50, this is to reduce administrative burden to club volunteers, make policy clear and reducing scamming of people during the resale process.
If you wish to protect your entry fee in the event you cannot compete, you can do so through the ‘Protecht’ administered entry protection process, which can be purchased during your entry to the race only.
Due to the low entrant numbers/sell out of Barge2Beach we do allow transfer of entries in the Barge2Beach This is through the Race Roster process only and is at the risk of the parties involved. No money should change hands as the original entrant gets refunded through Race Roster and the new entrant pays the normal entry fee
Event Information
Will the swim be wetsuit legal?
We have had one wetsuit legal swim in the events history, to which we are pretty sure was due to a faulty thermometer! Feel free to pack your wetsuit, but it is highly unlikely you will get to use it.
When is registration and racking?
Refer to the Hundy Festival Program for details on registration opening times and racking.
When are the wave starts?
Wave starts will be finalised after official entries have closed. Wave starting times will be posted soon after. Wave starts
Is there Bag storage?
Yes, its located next to the Recovery Tent, Scarness Park.

Can we set up a team tent?
Yes, club tents will be available for booking about a month out from the event, please keep an eye on facebook for us announcing that.
